Description:
The post insulator is a special insulation control that can play an important role in overhead transmission lines. In the early years, post insulators were mostly used for telephone poles. They were slowly developed at the end of high-type high-voltage wire connection towers. A lot of hanging insulators were hung on it. Insulators play two basic roles in overhead transmission lines, namely supporting wires and preventing current from returning to ground. These two roles must be ensured. Insulators should not fail due to flashover breakdown due to changes in environmental and electrical load conditions Otherwise, the insulator will lose its function and damage the use and operating life of the entire line.
