Yesterday, as a well-known summit in the domestic steel industry, the two-day “14th China Steel Summit Forum” opened at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
The forum is guided by the Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute and the China Metal Materials Circulation Association, and hosted by China Steel Network and Tianjin Youfa Steel Pipe Group. Many guests from relevant national ministries and commissions, relevant provincial and municipal departments, national associations of commerce, steel and related industries gathered in Greentown to discuss changes in the steel market, plan future development, and empower the optimization and upgrading of the steel industry chain.
During the forum, with the theme of “New Ecology·New Thinking·New Development”, the guests at the conference conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the sustainable development of China’s steel industry and how to deal with the changing steel trading environment. By discussing new opportunities for the steel industry under the new economic situation, as well as new trends in procurement models, steel supply chain construction and other issues, they contributed new ideas to the development of China’s steel industry and attracted nearly 200,000 viewers to watch the live broadcast online.
This forum is divided into main forum and sub-forum activities. Yesterday, at the opening ceremony of the main forum, the relevant person in charge of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce introduced the location advantages of Henan’s development and the current economic development, and encouraged entrepreneurs to make more contributions to Henan’s economic development. Subsequently, a number of big names in the iron and steel industry delivered speeches successively.
Today, six sub-forums including the building materials industry and sheet metal industry in 2021 will be held one after another. During the forum, the award ceremony of “2021 National Top 100 Steel Suppliers” and the Friendship Meeting of the Steel Industry Association were also held.
