Arcing Horn (220kV)

Lightning protection arcing horn is a kind of brand-new lightning protection devices, which well combines the lightning protection concept of blocking type and channeling type, that is, a pair of arcing horn in parallel at both ends of the conductor insulator strings to form the discharge gap, when the conductor is impacted by lightning, it can quickly introduce lightning current to the earth through the discharge gap and protect the insulator strings from breakdown; When lightning strikes the tower, it can quickly lead the lightning current to the discharge gap until the arc disappears to prevent flashover damage of the insulator string.

• Hot-dip galvanized steel;

1) Connecting fittings.  This kind of hardware is specially used for connecting all kinds of bare wire and lightning conductor.  The connection bears the same electrical load as the conductor, and most connectors bear all the tension of the conductor or lightning conductor.

2) Protective fittings.  This kind of metal is used to protect conductors and insulators, such as pressure equalizing ring for insulator protection, heavy hammer to prevent insulator string from being pulled out, vibration hammer and wire protector to prevent conductor from vibrating, etc

3) Contact with gold fittings.  This kind of hardware is used for connecting hard bus, soft bus and outlet terminal of electrical equipment, T connection of wire and parallel wire connection without bearing force, etc. These connections are electrical contacts.  Therefore, high conductivity and contact stability are required.
